Culture War con't

Concerning the culture war in America and elsewhere in the world. I want to encourage you with this.

God does not want us to have a fatalistic approach to life or theology. Yes, things are bad and it sure looks like sin and satan are winning the day. However, Jesus said the gates of hell shall not prevail against His church and Daniel said that Gods kingdom would grow and grow until it became a great mountain filling all the earth.

The key to the churches growth and our ultimate slam dunk is when we take the kingdom that's been given to us and unashamedly present it to the world and continue to do so in the face of persecution or testings. Daniel said that the kingdom would be given to the saints of the Most High in chapter 7, and in that same chapter he said that Jesus ( Son of Man) would be given a kingdom by the Ancient of Days. That has traditionally been taught to refer to the second coming of Christ, but if you read the text it's speaking of Christ going to the Father so it's a picture of Jesus ascension and the Father giving the man Jesus Christ the kingdom of his father David.

Daniel 7:13

I saw in the night visions,

and behold, with the clouds of heaven

there came one like a son of man,

and he came to the Ancient of Days

and was presented before him.

14 And to him was given dominion

and glory and a kingdom,

that all peoples, nations, and languages

should serve him;

his dominion is an everlasting dominion,

which shall not pass away,

and his kingdom one

that shall not be destroyed.

Concerning the kingdom given to the saints here is what Daniel said.

7:25 He shall speak words against the Most High,

and shall wear out the saints of the Most High,

and shall think to change the times and the law;

and they shall be given into his hand

for a time, times, and half a time.

26 But the court shall sit in judgment,

and his dominion shall be taken away,

to be consumed and destroyed to the end.

27 And the kingdom and the dominion

and the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven

shall be given to the people of the saints of the Most High;

their kingdom shall be an everlasting kingdom,

and all dominions shall serve and obey them.’

And Jesus said in Luke 12:32

Fear not, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

And then he said in later, in the same chapter, at the last supper

Luke 12:29

And I confer on you a kingdom, just as my Father conferred one on me,

We have been given a kingdom in the here and now. So many Christians are awaiting the kingdom at Christs return, but at the return of Jesus Christ, He give the kingdom back to the Father.

1Cor. 15:24

then comes the end, when He hands over the kingdom to the God and Father, when He has abolished all rule and all authority and power.

So the secret to victory in this life for the saints is not waiting for Jesus to return, and he will one day, but to take the kingdom that's been given to us and run with it declaring and displaying it's power and life to the world. That's what the disciples did and they conquered Rome and it's empire.

We are making strong progress in the abortion arena because God gave people the wisdom how to fight and win, we'll see the same thing happen in others areaa also. IF, IF, IF, we will take the kingdom and fight with Gods weapons grace and life and not our carnal weapons of destruction. We call it culture wars, but it's really a spiritual war when you examine it closely.

Almost all the battles in the culture war deal ethics or morals, right and wrong or as I prefer to define it, expressions of Gods love life vs modern mans love and death.

Gods love always encompasses life and normalacy.

Modern Mans ideal love always leads to death or abnormalacy, i.e things that are contrary to the majority and history of life, people, culture.

Mans ideal of love is that it's okay for a woman to murder a baby. It was also okay to have sex outside of marriage, in the name of love, which produced the unwanted baby.

Mans ideal of love is to see how many women or men he or she can sleep with in a lifetime.

My Psychology professor at a secular college told me that this is not true love! Because then we are just treating people as objects for our own personal pleasure, when lifes purpose is just about sex.

How about assisted suicide? Mans ideal of showing mercy is to terminate a life in order to ease pain and suffering.

It seems like an act of mercy, but the decision to behave in such a manner is rooted deeply in evolution and it's denial of God our Creator. With that moral philosphy comes a disrespect for life because man is just an animal and not an eternal being who continues to live after the body has died.

Gods kind of love though has profound respect for life in the body and after the body has expired.

Gods kind of love understands the spiritual and emotional connection that happens within the act of sex and the lingering negative affects of a one night stand, particularly for the woman.

Gods kind of love cherishes life within the womb, even if the baby is a result of rape or of a decision made while intoxicated with drugs or alcohol.

We can and will win the culture wars as we promote and educate society concerning Gods love, because Christ has given us a kingdom that he promised would become a great mountain filling all the earth. He also told us to Go and preach the gospel of the kingdom that's been given to us. The kingdom of God will not fail, however, we the saints can delay it's victory by doing nothing and sitting around with the remote in our hands waiting for Jesus to return and save us from the evil in the world.
